About

Hayden Croft started telling stories before he could write and dictated complete books to his parents with tales similar to the Redwall stories of Brian Jacques.  

He started writing travel articles and at the age of nine, had articles about traveling in Morocco and traveling in Scotland published in The Children's Magazine.  When he was 13, his interview from a meeting in Australia with Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, was published in Teen's World Magazine.  

Born and raised in Arizona, Hayden attended Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University, where he holds Bachelor's degrees in both Media and Film Studies and Sociology. He also attended summer film programs at UCLA and at Princeton in addition to the New York Film Academy.

He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he works as a screenwriter and director.
